Based on traditional lamp shades with decorative fringes, this lamp shade is made from approximately 2000 strips of nylon line fixed to a steel frame with brass weights hanging from the ends. The brass weights keep the nylon taut and also provide a decorative fringe. The two tier curtain of nylon diffuses the light
